We hope you've had as much fun on the set as we did, but more importantly, we also hope you got unlucky as much as we did. Misery loves company, after all!

New Opening Encounters:

  • 3-Cost Start: Start with a random 3-cost champion.

  • Upgraded Start: Start with a 2-star 1-cost champion.

  • Augment Round Swap: Augment rounds are moved earlier.

  • Earlier Snax: Second Power Snax appears on 2-6 instead of 3-6.

  • The Grand Finals: It's the Grand Finals! You're on your own, champion.

  • Beach Party: Beach Episode! Gain a beach ball that Tacticians can toss around!

  • Regal Rumble: Carousels have more competitors on them!

  • Winner’s Circle: After top 4, remaining players gain 10 gold and 2 component anvils.

    • Edgelord (6) AD 50 -> 55

    • Heavyweight (6) HP 55 -> 60

  • 1-Cost Champions

    • Garen HP per stack 3 -> 4

  • 2-Cost Champions

    • Kai'Sa ability damage increased

  • 3-Cost Champions

    • Darius damage increased

    • Kog'Maw AS and damage increased

    • Rammus shield increased

    • Senna mana buffed

    • Ziggs on-hit damage increased

  • 4-Cost Champions

    • Ashe damage increased

    • Jinx AS properly updates (bug fix)

    • Volibear damage increased

  • 5-Cost Champions

    • Seraphine damage increased

Nerfs

  • Traits

    • Crystal Gambit

      • Crystal Gambit changed from 4, 8, and 12 cash out intervals to 3, 6, 9, and 12

      • Less gems from losses but higher loss multiplier in Stage 3 and 4

      • 5 Crystal is stronger and easier to gain rewards now but 7 Crystal is weaker

    • Prodigy mana nerf

    • Sorcerer (6) AP 90 -> 80

    • Star Guardian Seraphine Bonus 5 -> 4

    • The Crew Ship Damage 105 -> 80

  • 1-Cost Champions

    • Kayle wave damage nerfed

    • Lucian mana refund per miss and damage nerfed

  • 2-Cost Champions

    • Dr. Mundo HP gain nerfed

    • Katarina damage nerfed

    • Kobuko stun nerfed

    • Gangplank damage nerfed

      • And his spell range remains at 2 no matter what his range is

    • Rakan mana nerfed

  • 4-Cost Champions

    • Karma spell less likely to target backline

  • 5-Cost Champions

    • Braum damage increased

      • Poro-Fans gained is equal to his star level

      • Now lose 100% of Poro-Fans on loss

    • Gwen damage decreased

Items

  • Edge of Night AS decreased

  • Striker's Flail AS decreased

    • Same with Radiant

Conclusion

  • In addition to lots of nerfs to strong Power Ups like All Out for K'Sante and Bullet Hell, the meta should shift a bit this patch

  • Katarina not worth playing

  • GP will still be okay with 6 Duelist + Keepers but the current Stretchy Arms version should be out

  • 6 Sorcs will be weaker but still viable

  • Prodigy was already on the way out and may remain out

  • All Out K'Sante + Akali may still be okay because of everything else being nerfed

  • Kayle not worth playing

  • Expect reroll Kaisa to gain steam

  • Fast 9 Frost Touch TF should gain steam

  • Darius 6 Heavyweight reroll should gain steam

  • Senna reroll should gain steam
